Caroline County Humane Society is committed to supporting both pets and the people who care for them.

We offer programs and services designed to help keep pets healthy, safe, and in loving homes whenever possible. Below you’ll find information about the resources available in our community.

Pet Pantry

Our monthly Pet Pantry provides pet food and basic supplies to families who may be facing financial challenges.

There are no time limits for receiving assistance if you need help and we have resources available, we are here for you. Our goal is to keep pets in the homes where they are loved.

Low-Cost
Spay & Neuter

Our low-cost spay and neuter program helps make preventative veterinary care more accessible for pet owners in our community. Available for owned dogs and cats, this program is made possible through grant funding that allows us to offer services at a reduced cost.

Spaying and neutering helps prevent unwanted litters, supports long-term pet health, and reduces pet overpopulation in our region.

End Of Life
Services

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions a family can face. We are here to provide guidance, resources, and compassionate support during this time. Our end-of-life services help pet owners navigate options and ensure animals receive humane and respectful care when quality of life has declined.

Our goal is to offer comfort, dignity, and support for both pets and their families during a challenging moment.

TNR
Trap-Neuter-Return

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program provides humane spay/neuter services for community cats, including feral, stray, and barn cats, at no cost thanks to grant funding. TNR helps stabilize outdoor cat populations, prevents new litters, and improves the health and safety of cats living outdoors.

This program supports both the cats and the neighborhoods where they live by offering a humane, effective solution to community cat overpopulation.
