Pet Pantry Program

Helping Pets Stay in the Homes That Love Them

The Caroline County Humane Society Pet Pantry exists to support pet owners in our community who may be experiencing temporary financial hardship. Our goal is simple: to keep pets in the homes where they are loved.

Sometimes families face unexpected challenges, and providing food or basic supplies for their pets can become difficult. Through our Pet Pantry program, we help bridge that gap by providing pet food and other essential items whenever we are able.

This program has no time limits for how long someone may receive assistance. As long as supplies are available, we are here to help. We believe that a temporary hardship should never mean losing a beloved companion.

Our Pet Pantry is made possible through generous community donations and partnerships, including support from Maryland SPCA, which serves as a hub for the Maryland Food Bank Pet Food Program. Through this partnership, we are able to receive larger donations of pet food to help serve more families in Caroline County.

How to Donate

Community support is what keeps our Pet Pantry shelves stocked and allows us to continue helping pets and their people.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during regular business hours, or items can be purchased directly from our online wish list.

We also gratefully accept donations from local businesses and stores, and we are always looking to build partnerships that help keep the pantry supplied for the families who rely on it.

If you would like to support the Pet Pantry program, you can:

  • Drop off supplies at the shelter

  • Purchase items from our Amazon Wish List

  • Organize a supply drive through your workplace, school, or community group

  • Partner with us as a local business to help keep the pantry stocked

Every donation helps ensure that pets can remain safely in the homes where they are loved.
